How are you?
The team and I wanted to reach out and say that firstly, we hope that you and your loved ones are all safe and well. This pandemic has been tough for everyone in varying ways and we hope that you are all coping as best you can with it.
The TDC team have been finding different things help with the uncertainty / anxiety we are all facing and wanted to share these with you:
Keep a routine - It might feel like a good idea to stop your routine... because who wants to get out of bed when you don't have to? But actually this can make you feel more anxious as you are used to being more active. Try to keep busy.
Avoid the news - We are all well aware of what is going on in the world but it is now everywhere you look, every second of the day. If you find this affects your mood negatively try to avoid news sites or the tv at primetime like 6pm.
Keep in contact - Reach out to your friends, family, work wives or husbands, even old school friends! We're all going through it right now and having good people around you will get you through.
We're so lucky to have a great community of women and many of you have already been in contact just to chat with us :) Please keep this up, we need to stick together now more than ever.
